Pat Caron writes in English, in français and in Nederlands.
He is a Belgian author, musician, lego-player, and tree-climber (part-time), along with some other less serious roles such as lawyer.
No doubt, he took up writing quite late in life. This is because he had to gather some material to write about before that. He obviously spent a long time looking for a pen too. Languages, especially foreign ones, are a phenomenon of permanent fascination to him.
His fourth book, second novel (yes, he likes math too) ‘Vibrato’ has been published in January 2022. After his first novel, ‘L’ange de Cassel (The Angel of Cassel)’, he thought he had written all there was to write about, since it covered our whole history, but its success prompted him to think again. And this is how ‘Vibrato’, came about: not so deeply steeped in history anymore, but in the intensity and the music of our present lives.
Previously he had written a personal development book in English, named ‘Playfulness’. For its first edition in 2012, he had coined this term, and is now very happy to have contributed to the popularization of this concept, as, in the meantime, several authors have started using the same term.
Also in 2020, dazzled by the beauty of Australian nature, and in particular by the wealth of Australian trees, he writes a book, also in English, with the title ‘Tree Stories of Australia‘. In this book, one can find, in addition to the stories, drawings, photographs, all by Pat Caron with contributions by his family members, also various plays, games and activities, all related to trees. He was able to intertwine several of his passions (play and nature) in this book.
The third volume in the Celidor series ‘The Garden of Delights’ (after ‘The Incredible Life of Celidor Grant’ and ‘Vibrato’) is published in 2023. Through his love of history and humor, Pat Caron leads us into an unusual romance. Not only is it unusual in view of the standards of the genre, it is also the first time he ventures deeply into the explosive relationship between a man and a woman.
